Mediation Hub

Meet the team

Built by a specialist technology team alongside practising family mediators.

Mediation Hub is developed by 80Twenty, a technology firm whose founders have spent their careers building and securing systems for banks, governments and regulated institutions, working with a family mediator who still runs her own practice. The mediator shaped the ten workstreams around how the work is actually done. The technology team built them to the standard that regulated financial services expects.

The mediators

Shaped by a mediator who still does the work.

Ashlie Prescott described where the time goes in a family mediation practice. The ten workstreams exist because of what she described.

Ashlie Prescott

Ashlie Prescott

Family Lawyer and Accredited Family Mediator

Pathway Mediation

Ashlie brings 28 years of family-law experience, has been an accredited family mediator since 2013, and still runs her own mediation practice, so she knows first hand the administrative load that comes with the work. Her work spans children and parenting matters, financial arrangements and complex financial cases involving businesses, trusts, farming assets and property portfolios.

Contribution to Mediation Hub

Ashlie helped ensure Mediation Hub reflects the practical demands of active family mediation cases, from party onboarding and financial disclosure to session records and professional review.

The technology team

Powered by 80Twenty Technology

Built by senior technology practitioners who secure banks and government systems.

Mediation Hub is built and run by 80Twenty, a UK software company founded by Mark Capaldi and Connor Reid. Mark and Connor have worked together for eight years, building secure and compliant software for banks, government and other regulated organisations. They founded 80Twenty to bring that standard of engineering to businesses whose work depends on handling sensitive data with care. Family mediation is one of them.

80Twenty

Mark has 25 years of experience building and running business-critical platforms in regulated industries, including financial services, energy and utilities. He has led engineering organisations for some of the most demanding technology environments in the UK, has led the build of an enterprise cloud platform for a Tier 1 UK bank, and has set the engineering and AI strategy for a global technology company. He leads the engineering of Mediation Hub with the same focus, so that mediators and their clients can trust the platform with their most sensitive information.

Practitioner input shaped the workflows and the technology team built them. Every draft and record in Mediation Hub still requires mediator review and approval.
